Casey Bertke continued her torrid pitching streak while
Kaley Clark and
Lexi Parsons collected four hits apiece to lead the Lady Jackets to a G-MAC sweep over Ursuline.
CU won by scores of 9-0 and 7-6 on a blustery day at the Athletes in Action Sports Complex.
Bertke, 11-6, extended her winning streak to nine in a row on a two-hitter with three strikeouts in the first game.
The contest was halted after five innings by the eight-run mercy rule.
Lindsey Linker smacked a two-run double,
Kaley Clark had two hits,
Dana Bertke scored twice, and Parsons tripled.
In the nightcap, Cedarville built a 7-3 lead and then hung on after the Arrows scored three times in the seventh.
Mackenzie Russell, 2-3, went the distance in the circle. She struck out three and did not walk a batter.
Parsons went 3-for-3 with an RBI for Cedarville, 16-21 overall and 9-5 G-MAC.
Clark had two hits with a double, two RBIs, and two runs scored.
Dana Bertke matched her with two hits, a double, and two runs to go along with one RBI.
