Findlay locks down Cedarville

FINDLAY, Ohio - Findlay recorded its first win of the season with a 3-0 G-MAC result over the Lady Jackets on a hot afternoon at DeHaven Field.

UF netted the only goal it needed in the 32nd minute.

Two quick scores 90 seconds apart early in the second half were too much for the visitors to overcome.

The home side was firmly in control of the opportunities by outshooting Cedarville 13-9 overall and 10-3 on goal.

Brooke Ackley made five saves and substitute keeper Kaelan Swallow had two stops for the Lady Jackets, 2-3-1 overall and 1-1 G-MAC.

The Oilers ended a four-match winless streak vs. Cedarville dating back to the Covid season G-MAC Championship game played in the spring of 2021.
