McClish, CU come away with 1-1 draw vs. Northwood

FAIRBORN, Ohio - Reigning G-MAC Player of the Year Megan McClish's 88th minute header provided the Lady Jackets a 1-1 tie with visiting Northwood.

Carlie Stutzman and Addie Erslan were credited with assists for Cedarville, 3-3-2 overall and 2-1-1 G-MAC.

The game was staged on the artificial turf at Wright State University's Alumni Field because excessive rain from Hurricane Helene made CU's field unplayable.

Stutzman delivered a restart from 30 yards out that Erslan got a head on to pop the ball up the in air and McClish was there to finish off her first goal of the season.

Cedarville had the upper hand statistically on the unbeaten Timberwolves even after the visitors scored in the 15th minute.

The Jackets outshot NU 24-9 overall and 9-1 on goal. The home side had a 15-4 shot margin in the second half.
