Cedarville shoots lights out in big win over Chargers

HIGHLIGHTS

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets buried a season-high 15 three-pointers and never trailed in leveling Hillsdale, 81-65, at the Callan Athletic Center.

The victory was just the third in 20 tries for CU over the Chargers, who were 28-point winners in Michigan less than three weeks ago.

Tymoteusz Pszczola came off the bench with 18 points for Cedarville, 9-9 overall and 4-7 G-MAC.

Jaylen Davis and Ethan Sellars netted 16 points apiece.

The Yellow Jackets scored the first nine points of the game and never looked back. 

The hosts took a 39-24 lead into halftime and pushed the difference out to 22 midway through the second period.

Cedarville shot a season-high 58 percent from the field with 43 of the team's points coming from the bench.
