CEDARVILLE, Ohio - NABC Division II No. 17 Findlay ramped up the offense to hand the Yellow Jackets an 86-74 G-MAC setback at the Callan Athletic Center.
Cedarville jumped on the Oilers by scoring the first nine points of the contest.
Following three missed shots and three turnovers to begin the game, the visitors regrouped to shoot 62 percent from the field the rest of the half to grab a 41-39 lead.
UF put together an 11-2 run to start the second period to take command while pushing the margin to as much as 21 points.
Jaylen Davis scored 15 points for the Jackets, 7-5 overall and 2-3 G-MAC.
Ethan Sellars (14),
Anthony Ruffolo (13), and
Sam Johnson (12) also scored in double figures.
Kyle Thomas dished out five assists and Johnson added three blocked shots.
The Oilers shot .552 from the field and made 9-of-16 (.563) three-pointers.
