CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville was clipped by Lawrence Tech, 4-3, at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.
The women wrapped up the fall portion of the schedule with a 4-4 record.
The Lady Jackets took three singles victories, but Lawrence Tech claimed two of the three doubles courts and rallied late in singles play to earn the dual-match win.
Diana Ivanikhina led the way for Cedarville with a strong 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.
Delia Guzic followed with a hard-fought victory at No. 2, prevailing in a 10-7 third-set tiebreak.
Mariana Philipps added a straight-sets win at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 7-6 (7-3).
In doubles, Ivanikhina teamed with
Molly Filpus for a 6-4 win at the No. 2 position.
