ASHLAND, Ohio — Cedarville was knocked out of the G-MAC Championship with a narrow 1–0 loss to Findlay in the semifinals at Ferguson Field.
The Oilers broke a scoreless deadlock following a rebound opportunity in the 79th minute to claim the neutral site victory.
The contest remained even through most of the 90 minutes with both sides producing 12 shots apiece. Cedarville placed five on target but could not find the back of the net.
Goalkeeper Kaelan Swallow made four saves while facing 12 Findlay attempts. Evania McCandless led the Lady Jackets' offense with three shots, including two on goal, while Seren Johnson, Alli Graves, and Ella Webb each added one shot on frame.
The Lady Jackets pressed for an equalizer with late corner kicks in the 81st and 84th minutes but were unable to convert.
