Anthony Ruffolo scored a season-high 21 points for Cedarville, 10-12 overall and 5-10 G-MAC.
Timothy Davis netted all 18 of his points in the first half when he made all seven of his field goal attempts including four triples.
Jaylen Davis finished with 15 points and
Sam Johnson had 10.
The Jackets shot 62.5 percent from the field during the first 20 minutes for a 42-38 lead.
However, the roles were reversed in the second half when the Saints nailed 60 percent of their shots in outscoring the visitors, 50-40.
CU cut an 11-point deficit to 65-63 at the 7:42 mark, but Thomas More responded with a 10-3 spurt to push the margin back out to nine.
The high-scoring contest featured 12 tie scores and ten lead changes in which four of the Saints' five starters totaled 83 of the team's 88 points.
