No. 8 Ashland overwhelms Lady Jackets

ASHLAND, Ohio - WBCA Division II No. 8 Ashland outplayed Cedarville by an 83-34 count at Kates Gymnasium.

The three-time defending G-MAC champions blew out to a 37-10 lead by halftime and expanded it to 62-18 after three quarters.

Ella Sellars finished with a team-high 12 points for the Lady Jackets, 11-14 overall and 7-10 G-MAC.

The hosts, who extended their winning streak to 19, shot 62 percent from the field and controlled the boards, 37-20.
