Jaylen Davis poured in 21 points and Cedarville outscored Ashland, 81-69, before a Senior Day crowd of 2,263.
Davis came off the bench with three triples, a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line, and eight rebounds.
Freshman
Sam Johnson muscled his way to a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Jackets, 11-14 overall and 6-12 G-MAC.
Ethan Sellars flipped in four three-pointers and totaled 16 points with
Tymoteusz Pszczola adding 11 points.
The Yellow Jackets, who dropped a 14-point decision at Ashland two-plus weeks ago, fired in 53 points in the second half this time.
CU scored the final 13 points of the first half for a 28-23 advantage and increased the margin to 12 midway through the second period.
The Eagles recovered for a 57-54 lead at the 7:45 mark, but the home team closed with a 27-12 explosion.
The finish included a string of ten straight points punctuated by back-to-back triples by Davis and Sellars.
