PAINESVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville kept Lake Erie winless in the G-MAC, but not before having to outlast the Storm, 58-52, at the Osborne Center.
Brianna Zajicek scored a game-high 17 points for the Lady Jackets, 10-11 overall and 6-7 G-MAC.
Chloe Downing added 12 points and nine rebounds to help lead CU to its second straight road victory.
The Jackets blew out to a 20-5 first quarter margin, but the hosts rallied to make it interesting the rest of the way.
The Storm, 3-16 and 0-13 G-MAC, exploded on a 23-6 run to grab a two-point advantage late in the second period.
Neither side had a lead greater than six points in the second half.
With Cedarville clinging to a 51-50 edge, Downing buried a triple at the 3:50 mark and
Regan Hubert followed with a layup to make it 56-50.
The two sides play again in the Callan Athletic Center on February 13.
