Despite the outcome, Cedarville will be the No. 8 seed in the G-MAC Tournament and plays at No. 1 Findlay in one of Tuesday's quarterfinals.
CU and ODU were tied at 72-72 with three minutes left, but the Panthers tallied the next five points and never trailed again.
The Yellow Jackets misfired on a potential winning triple in the final seconds.
Jaylen Davis scored 14 of his team-high 17 points in the second half for Cedarville, 12-15 overall and 7-13 G-MAC.

Timothy Davis (11),

Ethan Sellars (10).
The team's 14 three-point field goals were the second-highest mark this winter.
