COLUMBUS, Ohio -
Brianna Zajicek scored the winning basket and then came away with a critical steal as the Lady Jackets escaped Ohio Dominican, 80-77, in overtime.
Cedarville scored the final seven points in the last minute to steal the victory.
Trailing 77-73,
KaCee Kyle came away with a steal and hit two free throws with 47 seconds left.
At the 14.9 second mark,
Ella Sellars made one free throw, missed the second, but grabbed the offensive rebound.
Sellars then assisted on Zajicek's five-foot bank shot with 3.8 seconds to go to give the visitors the lead, 78-77.
Following a timeout, Zajicek stole the inbounds pass and
Regan Hubert converted two free throws with 0.3 seconds on the clock to seal the final.
Sellars scored 19 points to lead four players in double figures for the Jackets, 14-14 overall and 10-10 G-MAC.
Kyle had 17 points and
Amaris Betts hit four triples en route to a career-high 17 points. Zajicek recorded her second straight double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Cedarville returned the favor to the Panthers after having lost to ODU 84-56 at home on January 23.
The Jackets will be the No. 7 seed in the G-MAC Tournament and play at No. 2 Hillsdale on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. EST.
