CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Yellow Jackets opened the G-MAC portion of the schedule with a notable 4-1 victory over Ashland at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

It was Cedarville's first win against the Eagles in the NCAA Division II era.

The hosts grabbed the doubles point with decisions in the top two spots.

No. 1 Nathan Hollis and Penn Morrison (6-4) and No. 2 Logan DeHaven and Roberto Esquivel (6-2) were the winners.

The Jackets clinched the result in singles with straight set victories from No. 2 Hollis, No. 3 Esquivel, and No. 4 Morrison.

No. 5 Pedro Nogueira and No. 6 Abraham Hougland were both leading their matches when the contest was halted.
