CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Ashland was 6-1 better than Cedarville in the first G-MAC match of the season played at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.

The Eagles, 8-1 overall, swept all three doubles contests for the early 1-0 lead.

The lone point for the Lady Jackets came at No. 1 singles by Diana Ivanikhina. 

The junior from Tajikistan improved to 11-2 on the season with a 6-4, 6-3 decision.

Cedarville drops to 6-7 overall.
