FINDLAY, Ohio – Cedarville scored twice in the final six minutes to rally past Findlay, 2-1, in G-MAC action on Thursday at DeHaven Field.
The Oilers opened the scoring in the 17th minute and carried the 1-0 advantage into halftime. The Yellow Jackets generated five shots in the opening half but were unable to break through.
Cedarville continued to search for the equalizer before
Bryan Cortina finally delivered in the 85th minute with his second goal of the season.
The Yellow Jackets completed the dramatic comeback just over four minutes later when
Jackson Baker found the net at 88:08 for his first goal of the campaign and the game-winner.
Cortina led the Cedarville attack with four shots, including three on goal. The Yellow Jackets finished with an 11-8 advantage in shots, while
Eben Dewhurst made two saves to secure the victory.
The Yellow Jackets are 6-6-1 overall and 6-3-0 in the G-MAC. Their next contest is Saturday against #25 Tiffin.
