DAY 1 RESULTS (PDF)
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville won two relay events and dominated the 5K on Day 1 of the NCCAA Indoor Championship at the Doden Field House.
The top three finishers in each event are NCCAA All-Americans.
Helen Rhymer won the 5,000 meters in 18:23.31 and
Ella Reaves was the runner-up in 18:26.10. CU brought home five of the top eight finishers in the race.
The Jackets won the distance medley relay in 12:32.10 with a foursome of
Ruby Gross,
Jessica Ferguson,
Sydney Diedrich, and
Jane Manthei.
The 4 x 200 meter relay unit of
Mallory Gasper,
Hannah Hardaway,
Ari Tompkins, and
Julie Tompkins won in a school record time of 1:44.43.
Seven-time defending champion Cedarville has the early lead with 49 points and Bethel is next with 47.
