CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Lake Erie made the plays that counted coming down the stretch to clip Cedarville, 63-62, in a key G-MAC matchup at the Callan Athletic Center.
Neither side led by more than eight points, but the Storm never relinquished the advantage over the final 11 minutes.
With the score tied at 45-45, LEC scored seven unanswered points to grab the lead for good. The Jackets got within one on three occasions before running out of time.
Jaylen Davis turned in a game-high 19 points to go along with six steals for Cedarville, 12-15 overall and 7-12 G-MAC.
Anthony Ruffolo scored 15 points while
Will Gibson totaled 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists.
