CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Cedarville University student-athletes continued their tradition of academic excellence during the spring 2026 semester as every athletics program recorded a cumulative grade point average above 3.0.
The department combined for an impressive 3.47 overall GPA, highlighting Cedarville's ongoing commitment to excellence in academics, athletics, and spiritual growth.
"Cedarville student-athletes continue to demonstrate that academic achievement, athletic success, and a Christ-centered life can thrive together," said Vice President for Athletics
Christopher Cross.
"Our department's 3.47 GPA reflects a commitment to excellence that extends beyond competition. These student-athletes are striving to honor Christ in every area while developing into leaders who pursue championships and positively influence the culture of sport."
Women's tennis led all programs with a stellar 3.67 team GPA, while basketball paced the men's programs with a 3.51 mark.
The department-wide achievement reflects Cedarville Athletics' continued pursuit of honoring Christ through academic discipline, competitive success, and servant leadership.
