FINDLAY, Ohio - Cedarville began the G-MAC schedule with a 0-0 draw at Findlay on the turf at DeHaven Field.
The Lady Jackets, picked No. 2 in the G-MAC preseason poll, and the No. 3 Oilers remained scoreless through 90 minutes in the 15th meeting between the programs.
Neither team was able to find the breakthrough as both goalkeepers recorded two saves.
Anna Taylor, who is the reigning G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week, posted her third straight shutout and fourth in five outings this season.
Findlay held a 10-3 advantage in shots.
Seren Johnson put the Lady Jackets' first shot on target in the 25th minute and
Miriam Faust tested the UF keeper in the 87th.
The scoreless result marked the second tie in the all-time series between the programs, with Findlay now holding a 7-6-2 advantage.
Cedarville, 2-1-2 overall, continues its G-MAC road swing at Ohio Dominican on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
