Biography

Jacob Dubie is back for his third season with the Yellow Jackets after transferring from Oregon Institute of Technology.....improved to appear in six varsity meets in 2011 and was among the team’s top seven finishers the last three outings.....CU’s #2 runner and placed 8th overall at the Ohio Independent Championship with a career-best 8K mark of 26:43.....finished 22nd of 209 competitors in the NCCAA Championship in 26:52.....ran the 5K and 10K during the outdoor track season.

2010 - Ran in four varsity meets in his sophomore season.....had a season-best time of 27:26 to place 42nd of 105 at the American Mideast Conference Championship.....distance runner on the track team.

2009 - Participated in cross country as a freshman at Oregon Tech.....best time in the 8K was 27:53.

High School - Two-year letter winner in cross country at Kearsarge High School.....best time in the 5K was 17:58.....also earned a pair of letters in track & field.....posted a personal best mark of 10:30 in the 3,200 meters.....named school’s Most Valuable Runner as a senior.

Personal - Mathematics education major at Cedarville University.....born 12/22/90 in Hanover, NH.....son of Thomas Dubie and Carolyn Rayno.....older brother, Jeremiah, is a distance runner at the University of Idaho.....has another older brother and a younger sister.
