Laura Farleman is in her fourth season with the CU women’s track & field team.....did not compete last year due to injury.

2014 - Totaled 62 individual points during the indoor/outdoor schedule......one of the most successful multi-event track & field athletes in CU history.....has eight of Cedarville’s Top 10 all-time indoor efforts in the pentathlon.....garnered the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) indoor pentathlon title with a school-record 3,198 points.....earned NCCAA Indoor All-America honors.....captured the 2014 Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitational pentathlon with 3,072 points.....holds six of the Top 10 all-time Cedarville marks in the heptathlon.....posted a fourth-best all-time mark of 4,195 points in the heptathlon at the All-Ohio Championships.....earned the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) individual title in the high jump with a meet-winning 4-11.75 effort.....placed fourth in the 400 meter hurdles and the javelin at the G-MAC Championships.....G-MAC First Team recognition.....G-MAC Academic Team.....represented Cedarville University and the G-MAC on the NCAA Division II National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

2013 - Produced 46.5 individual points in the indoor and outdoor campaigns.....placed fourth in the pentathlon with 3,142 points (new school record at CU) at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Indoor Championship.....posted a second-best all-time at Cedarville of 3,064 points to finish fifth in the pentathlon at the University of Findlay Classic.....heptathlon outings of 4,168 points (NCCAA Championship) and 4,090 points (All-Ohio Championship) rank in top five all-time at Cedarville.....tallied third in the high jump (4-11.75) and fifth in the 55 meter hurdles (8.96) at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitational.....placed fourth in the javelin at the University of Cincinnati Early Bird Relays with a throw of 83-1.....finished second in the 100 meter hurdles (16.39), fourth in the high jump (4-11.75) and seventh in the javelin (91-2) at the Cedarville Collegiate All-Comers Meet.

2012 - Tallied 40.5 individual points during the 2012 indoor/outdoor campaigns.....participated in the relays, hurdles, high jump, long jump, shot put, javelin, heptathlon and pentathlon events.....top high jump effort of 5-3 tallied a runner-up finish at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Indoor Championship and All-America honors.....part of the third-place 4 x 800 meter relay unit that also garnered NCCAA All-America recognition as CU captured the NCCAA Championship banner.....best long jump of the indoor season was a 15-7.75 effort at the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational.....season-best shot put heave of 28-5.75 also occurred at the CC Invite.....finished eighth in the pentathlon with 3,032 points - including a win in the 800 meters (2:29.93) - at the University of Findlay Indoor Classic.....placed fifth in the heptathlon at the NCCAA Outdoor Championship with 4,090 points - fourth-highest all-time at Cedarville - the point total included a winning high jump effort of 5-3 and a runner-up finish in the 800 meters (2:30.90).....helped CU win the Ohio Independent Championship banner with the individual high jump title (4-9).....finished in tenth position at the University of Cincinnati Early Bird Relays with 3,709 points in the heptathlon - the sixth-most points all-time at CU.

High School - Produced a two-sport career at C. W. Baker High School.....four-year letter winner in track & field.....five-time league champion.....six-time state qualifier finalist.....holds three school records.....ranked 12th in the 2010 State of New York Pentathlon and 27th in the United States.....two-year letter winner in swimming.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a pharmaceutical sciences major at Cedarville University.....born 5/3/93 in Bernville, PA.....daughter of Michael and Karen Farleman.....has an older brother.
