Biography
Alison Lemon returns for her final season with the CU women's basketball program.....will again serve as one of three captains in 2009-10.....started all 30 contests last winter.....led team in scoring at 15.6 points per game.....posted team-bests in assists (139), steals (72) and three-point FG’s (72).....hit .490 from behind the arc - third-best all-time at CU for a single season....averaged 5.4 rebounds per game.....produced a season-high 27 points in a season-opening win over Point Park.....hit double figure scoring in all but five games......registered 20 points or more in seven contests..... handed out a career-high nine assists against Saint Francis IL .....became 17th Lady Jacket to reach 1,000 career points.....ranks sixth all-time with 143 career three-point FG’s.....eighth all-time with 183 career steals.....earned NAIA Division II All-America Third Team honors.....member of the NCCAA All-America First Team and the NCCAA Midwest Region First Team.....American Mideast Conference First Team selection......NAIA, NCCAA and AMC Scholar-Athlete.
2007-08 - Started all 31 games.....tossed in a career-high 29 points against Walsh.....posted 20-point games on nine other occasions..... led the squad in scoring (16.2 ppg), assists (113), steals (67), field goals (169) and free throws (118).....earned NCCAA All-America First Team honors.....voted the NCCAA National Tournament MVP while being named to the NCCAA All-Tournament Team.....NCCAA All-Midwest Region selection.....member of the All-AMC South Division First Team.
2006-07 - Appeared in all 34 games including nine starts.....team’s fifth- leading scorer with 6.9 points per game.....dished out a third-best 62 assists along with 44 steals.....averaged 3.1 rebounds per contest.....scored a season-high 15 points in an AMC South win at Urbana.....grabbed a season-high nine caroms versus Virginia-Wise.....twice dished out five assists - against Taylor and Warner Southern.....recorded six steals versus Indiana-South Bend.....hit for double figures in eight games.....named to the All-American Mideast Conference South Division Freshmen Team.
High School - Put together four highly successful years at Southeastern High School.....earned four letters in basketball.....team captured the 2005-06 district championship.....named to the All-Ohio Division IV First Team as a senior.....earned All-County, All-Conference, and All-District honors.....played in the Ohio Southwest District 9 All-Star Game and the Ohio High School Athletic Association North-South All-Star Game.....set school record for most points in a game (42) and holds career scoring (1,712) and three-point field goals made (112) standards at Southeastern.....named 2005-06 Clark County Miss Basketball, Southwest Ohio District 9 Player of the Year, and District 9 Division III-IV Player of the Year.....averaged 24.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and 5 assists per contest during final season at Southeastern.....averaged 23.6 points as a junior and was named to the All-Ohio Division IV Second Team.....four-year letter winner in soccer.....played in the Miami Valley Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association All-Star Game in 2005.....earned all-league, all-county and all-district accolades.....also earned three letters in track.....named all-league and all-county.....state qualifier.....played one season of softball in high school.....Ohio Heritage Conference Scholar-Athlete.....senior class salutatorian.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Exercise science major as a Dean’s List student at Cedarville University.....born 2/18/88 in Springfield, OH.....daughter of Jack and Valerie Lemon.....oldest brother, Brad, played baseball one season at Wittenberg University and two years at Urbana University.....also has another older brother.
