Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Lily Schuler is in her final season with the Lady Jacket tennis squad.....played at both #1 (4-5) and #2 (6-3) singles with an overall 10-8 mark and was 18-3 at #2 doubles in 2013-14.....posted a 4-1 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) mark in singles with wins against Kentucky Wesleyan (2), Alderson Broaddus and Central State.....undefeated (6-0) in regular season doubles action versus G-MAC competition.....teamed up with Courtney Heydt at #2 doubles for wins over Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins in the G-MAC Tournament.....G-MAC First Team selection.

2012-13 - Produced an 8-10 mark in the #1 singles position during the campaign.....combined with Courtney Heydt for an impressive 7-1 record at #2 doubles.....also saw doubles action with current teammate Emily Paul (4-1) and graduated senior Melissa Stoltzfus (5-2) to finish with a 17-4 record......won final three games with Stoltzfus at #2 doubles for a 9-7 verdict to help CU post a 5-4 win over visiting NCAA III Otterbein.....recorded an 8-6 win at #2 doubles with Stoltzfus as the Lady Jackets posted a 5-4 win at Huntington.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Team honors.....member of the G-MAC Academic Team.

2011-12 - Played 19 matches as a freshman in the #1 singles position while going 6-13.....recorded a 3-5 mark at #2 singles.....won her first two collegiate matches with wins at #1 singles over Geneva and Shawnee State last fall.....a 6-4, 6-2 win at #2 singles and an 8-4 tally at #1 doubles helped CU to a win over Emmanuel at the National Christians College Athletic Association (NCCAA) National Tournament.....paired up with Brooke Johnson to register an 11-15 record at #1 doubles.

High School - Produced a successful two-sport prep career at Bakersfield Christian High School.....four-year letter winner in tennis.....member of 2010 Division 4 Valley Championship team and three Division 5 Valley Championship titles.....team captured four South Sequoia League banners.....two-time all-area first team selection.....all-area doubles in 2009.....four-time all-league performer.....CIF Central Section semifinalist in 2009.....earned a KCTA ranking and Junior Player of the Year in 2008.....received the Bob Lynn Sportsmanship Award.....garnered the Santa Maria Grand Prix Tournament in 2009.....two-year member of the swim team.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 8/31/92 in Bakersfield, CA.....daughter of John and Patty Schuler.....has an older sister and an older brother.....younger brother, Nolan, is a sophomore offensive lineman as a member of the football team at George Fox University.....has three other younger brothers and two younger sisters.
