Biography

Alexandra Archambault is in her third campaign with the Lady Jacket track & field squad.....participated in all seven cross country meets this past fall.....CU’s top runner in three events.....captured the individual title at the Cedarville Open with a time of 18:52 over the 5,000 meter layout of the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.....placed 15th of 413 runners at the Wilmington Classic touring the 5,000 meters in 19:03.....earned a runner-up spot in CU’s Annual Friendship Invitational with a time of 18:56 on the 5,000 meter home course.....Cedarville’s leading runner at the NCAA II Midwest Regional in Evansville, Indiana with a time of 22:11 as the Lady Jackets finished 10th of 30 teams.....finished 6th at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships in Owensboro, Kentucky with a 23:04 outing as CU earned their third-consecutive league banner.....G-MAC First Team honoree.

2013-14 - Competed in three indoor meets during the 2014 campaign.....best finish was second in the 3,000 meters at the Cedarville Collegiate Invitational with a time of 10:40.81.....placed third in the 1,500 meters at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championships with a 4:58.59 performance to garner league honorable mention recognition.....top 5,000 meter effort of the outdoor season was 18:25.62 to finish thirteenth at the Miami University Invitational.....missed the season-opening Queen City Cross Country Invitational then completed the season as CU’s top runner in the final six meets of the 2013 schedule.....repeated as National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCA) All-American by placing seventh of 227 runners with a time of 18:37 at the NCCAA Championship held on the 5K layout of Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.....captured the G-MAC Championship event for the second straight year with a winning time and season-best outing of 22:33 over the 6,000 meters of the home course.....recorded a sixth-place finish among 276 participants with a time of 23:05 at the 6K Gettysburg Invitational.....finished 70th of 198 runners at the NCAA II Midwest Regional held in Kenosha, Wisconsin with a 23:12 mark over 6,000 meters.

2012-13 - Produced 43 individual points in her rookie track & field season.....placed 5th in the 3,000 meters at the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Indoor Championship with a time of 10:27.81.....took first in the mile run at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitational with a 5:19.85 outing.....finished first in the 5,000 meters at the Cedarville Collegiate All-Comers Outdoor Meet with a time of 17:57.82.....placed second in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Yellow Jacket Open.....Cedarville’s top runner in all seven cross country meets.....earned three individual titles as a freshman.....led the Lady Jackets to three team titles.....captured CU’s Friendship Invitational title with a season-best 18:12 performance finishing ahead of 128 participants.....NCCAA All-American by placing eighth out of 255 runners with a time of 18:26.....won the first-ever Great Midwest Athletic Conference meet with an 18:55 performance.....named to the G-MAC First Team and earned G-MAC Freshman of the Year honors.....placed first at the season-opening University of Dayton Challenge with a winning time of 19:20.....finished 27th of 299 runners at the All-Ohio Championships with an 18:45 performance.....produced a time of 22:17 at the 6,000 meter NCAA Division II Regional Championship to place 28th of 158 participants.

High School - Produced an outstanding distance running career at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy.....earned four letters each in indoor and outdoor track & field.....state champion in the outdoor 3,200 meters as a senior and helped squad to state title.....two-time all-state outdoors and was all-state indoors as a junior.....all-state cross country performer as a senior and four-year letter winner.....guided team to state championships her final two years.....named high school’s 2011-12 Female Athlete of the Year.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Pre-pharmacy major at Cedarville University.....born 10/7/93 in Portsmouth, NH.....daughter of Arthur and Holly Archambault.....has one younger sister.
