Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Jonathan Bitner is a second-year distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.....appeared in four varsity meets as a freshman.....team’s #1 finisher in the NCCAA Championship placing 32nd of 231 competitors in a season-best 26:38 for the 8K.....crossed the line 31st at Friendship Invitational in 27:15.....All-G-MAC Second Team performer after placing 15th in 27:25.....ran the distance events on the track.....G-MAC 10K runner-up for all-conference second team honors.

High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country at Penn Manor High School.....all-conference first team as a senior.....second team honoree junior year.....member of school’s first-ever Lancaster-Lebanon League Section I championship squad.....team co-captain as a senior.....earned four letters in track & field.....graduated with school record in 4 x 800 relay.....posted personal best times of 4:24 in the 1,600 and 9:37 in the 3,200.....twice served as team co-captain.....graduated with academic honors.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a pharmacy major at Cedarville University.....born 10/13/94 in Dauphin, PA.....son of Jeffrey and Cheryl Bitner.....has one older brother.
