Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Jarrett Kersten returns for his second year with the Yellow Jackets after transferring from NCAA Division I Western Michigan.....will serve as one of three captains this coming season.....one of five players to start all 20 contests last fall.....solid member of defensive back line that allowed just 13 goals.....unit also posted a new school record 12 shutouts during the 2013 campaign.....member of National Christian College Athletic Association Midwest Region Team.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) First Team selection.....G-MAC Academic Team honoree.

2012 - Started 18 matches for the 11-6-2 Broncos as a sophomore.

2011 - Made 20 appearances with 10 starts as a freshman for a WMU team that finished 6-12-3.

High School - Four-year letter winner in soccer at Clarkston High School.....two-time all-state first team honoree.....named to the all-state second team as a sophomore and was honorable mention as a freshman.....graduated with academic honors.....played for the U-18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a finance major at Cedarville University.....born 1/18/93 in Royal Oak, MI.....son of Lenny and Sheryl Kersten.....has one younger brother and a younger sister.
