Deanna Whalen is in her final season of tennis with the Lady Jackets.....tallied a 3-2 singles mark and a 12-8 doubles record in 2016-17.....recorded a 6-0, 6-0 decision at #6 singles in a 9-0 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) victory at Kentucky Wesleyan.....paired with Rosie Thompson for an 8-0 win at #3 doubles against Alderson Broaddus in the G-MAC Tournament semifinals at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex.....combined with Thompson for a 5-2 overall record at #2 doubles.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.

2015-16 - Registered a 9-11 mark with action at #1, #2, #3 and #4 singles.....tallied a 6-1 mark versus Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) opponents.....posted a 4-13 record at #2 (4-9) and #3 (0-4) doubles.....member of the G-MAC Academic Team.

2014-15 - Posted a 9-7 singles record playing in the #5 and #6 slots.....won three consecutive singles contests by scores of 6-0, 6-0.....finished the spring campaign with seven singles wins in a row.....registered a perfect 6-0 singles record in Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) action.....teamed up with Elise Perry at #3 doubles for a 9-3 mark.....also paired at #3 doubles with Lark Foote in an early fall contest.

High School - Four-year letter winner at Talawanda High School....member of four conference championship squads.....two-time team captain.....three-time all-conference first team selection.....four-year academic all-conference honoree.....earned the all-conference sportsmanship award as a senior.....posted a 20-1 record during junior season.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 9/6/96 in Waukesha, WI.....daughter of Rev. Derek and Christy Whalen.....father was a four-year soccer player at Cedarville (1985-88).....has an older brother and a younger sister.
