Olivia Esbenshade is one of the Lady Jackets’ top returning middle distance runners.....participated in six of the eight cross country meets during the fall season.....2016 Ohio NCAA Division II/NAIA Runner of the Year.....posted a career-best 6K time of 21:04 to place 11th of 220 runners at the NCAA II Regional in Evansville, Indiana.....finished 6th of 295 participants at the All-Ohio Championship with a time of 21:48 over the 6K layout of CU’s Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.....Cedarville’s #2 finisher (21:55) at the NCAA II Championship in Saint Leo, Florida.....captured the individual title at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championship with a 22:52 performance in Canton, Ohio as CU won their fifth consecutive league title.....earned G-MAC Women’s Runner of the Year award and G-MAC First Team honors.....won the CU Friendship Invitational with an 18:20 outing over the 5K home course layout.

2015-16 - Produced another outstanding season on the track including 38 indoor individual points and 54 outdoor individual points.....NCAA Division II Indoor qualifier in the 800 and distance medley relay.....National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Indoor All-American with runner-up showings in the 800 and 4 x 400 meter relay.....Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Indoor First Team with a win in the 4 x 400 and was the 800 runner-up.....United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II All-Region indoors (DMR) and outdoors (800).....NCAA Division II Outdoor qualifier in the 800.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 800.....G-MAC Outdoor First Team with wins in the 800, 1500, and 4 x 400.....help set school records in the indoor DMR (11:45.18) and outdoor 4 x 800 (8:59.84 at the Texas Relays) which also earned recognition as one of the 2016 Accusplit Relays of the Year.....USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....G-MAC Academic Team.....saw action in just four cross country meets but was the Lady Jackets’ #2 finisher each time.....CU’s #2 finisher and 6th overall of 224 runners at the NCAA II Midwest Regional in Allendale, Michigan with a time of 21:48 over the 6K course.....placed fourth with a 17:57 5K performance in the NCCAA Championship in Houghton, New York.....produced an 18:38 effort on a 5K course for a ninth-place finish of 108 participants at the Evansville Invitational.....NCCAA All-American.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

2014-15 - NCCAA indoor champion in the distance medley.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in the DMR and 4 x 400 relay.....G-MAC Indoor First Team with a win in the mile run.....won the outdoor 1,500 for all-conference first team recognition.....USTFCCCA Division II Outdoor All-Region Team in the 800 meters after posting the sixth-fastest time in school history (2:10.83).....helped set school records in the indoor DMR at the Indiana Hoosier Hills and the outdoor 4 x 800 at the Emory Invitational.....G-MAC Academic Team.....competed in five meets as a sophomore and was among the team’s top two finishers each time.....All-G-MAC First Team by placing 5th in 22:34 for the 6K.....posted a career-best 22:15 at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional to finish 42nd of 211.....placed 14th of 411 at the Wilmington Classic in a 5K PR of 19:03.....USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic in cross country.

2013-14 - Distance runner on the track team.....competed in only two meets as a freshman because of injury trouble.....placed 8th in the G-MAC Championship in 24:06 for the 6K to earn a spot on the G-MAC First Team.....finished 36th of 276 competitors at Gettysburg in 24:24.

High School - Four-year letter winner in track & field at Elizabethtown Area High School.....graduated with school records in the 800; 1,600; and 4 x 400 meter relay.....2011 league 800 meter champion.....two-time state qualifier.....placed 10th in the state 800 in 2011.....two-time qualifier in the Penn Relays in the 4 x 400 relay....earned four letters in cross country.....three-time Pennsylvania state qualifier.....Lancaster-Lebanon League runner-up as a ejunior.....two-time all-league first team former.....garnered second team honors as a sophomore.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 2/5/95 in Lancaster, PA.....daughter of Ted and Mary Esbenshade.....has one older sister, an older brother, a younger sister, and a younger brother, Conrad, who is a freshman distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.
