CAREER STATS

Marie Ewing is in her second season with the Cedarville women’s distance running program.....participated in two varsity meets during the 2018 cross country campaign.....recorded a 25:32.9 6K performance at the Gettysburg Invitational.....tallied a 6K effort of 25:53.5 at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championships in Canton, Ohio.

2017-18 - National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Indoor Track & Field Champion as part of the 4 x 800 meter relay with a winning time of 9:52.73.....placed sixth in the 800 meters (2:19.87) at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Outdoor Championships.....NCCAA Indoor All-American.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....participated in four of the seven varsity cross country races.....top 5K effort of the season was a 20:17 in the season-opening Queen City Invitational.....recorded a 20:36 at CU’s Friendship Invitational on the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course 5K layout.....G-MAC Academic Team.

High School - Produced successful two-sport career at Miami East High School.....four-year letter winner in track & field.....three-time state track qualifier.....earned all-conference, all-district, all-region and all-state honors each of the four years as a prep track & field performer.....holds school record in the 800 meters with a time of 2:16.12.....part of school record-setting 4 x 800 meter relay unit....four-year letter winner in cross country.....team qualified for the state cross country meet in 2015.....four-time all-district and all-region qualifiers as a team.....four-year all-state, all-region, all-district and all-conference performer.....four-year individual qualifier to the state cross country meet.....posted a personal-best 19:34 in the 5K.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as an allied health major at Cedarville University.....born 8/8/98 in Dayton, OH.....daughter of Roger and Jeanette Ewing.....older brother, Josh, participated in cross country and track & field during his freshman year at Anderson University.
