Kayla Casaletto is a four-year distance runner for the Lady Jackets.....served as one of five cross country captains this past fall.....Cedarville’s #1 runner in all six meets during the 2018 season......runner-up finish at CU’s Friendship Invitational with a 5K outing of 18:32.9.....placed 23rd of 149 participants at the season-opening Queen City Invitational with a 5K time of 18:43.7.....produced a season-best 6K effort of 22:04.7 to place 15th of 307 runners at the All-Ohio Championships in Norton, Ohio.....placed 21st of 192 participants with a 6K time of 22:23.9 at the NCAA II Midwest Regional in Hillsdale, Michigan.....G-MAC First Team.

2017-18 - Placed fifth in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the G-MAC Track & Field Championships with an 11:14.04 outing.....finished sixth in the 5,000 meters (17:36.24) at the Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus, Ohio.....ran in all seven cross country meets during the 2017 season.....runner-up in CU’s Friendship Invitational with a time of 18:41 over the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course 5K layout.....placed third with an 18:29 5K performance as Cedarville captured the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championship.....finished 15th at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Championships in Nashville, TN.....NCCAA All-American.....USTFCCCA Division II All-Academic.

2016-17 - G-MAC First Team on the track both indoors and outdoors.....conference champion in the indoor 3K and outdoor 5K......USTFCCCA Division II All-Region Cross Country Team selection after placing 25th in the Midwest Regional in a career-best 6K of 21:34.....turned in a 22:22 effort at the NCAA Division II Championship.....All-G-MAC First Team finishing fifth in 23:22.....came in 17th at the All-Ohio Championship in 22:27.....posted a 5K PR of 18:37 at the Friendship Invitational.

2015-16 - NCCAA Outdoor Track & Field All-American with a runner-up showing in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.....G-MAC champion in the steeple.....G-MAC Outdoor First Team and Indoor Second Team.....voted to the G-MAC Freshmen Team both indoors and outdoors.....NCCAA All-American in cross country placing 11th in 18:41 for the 5K.....fastest mark was 18:40 which finished 10th at Evansville.....crossed the line 63rd of 224 competitors at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional in a season-best 6K of 22:37.....ran in six meets total and was among the team’s Top 5 each time out.

High School - Four-year letter winner in track & field at Elkhart Christian Academy.....graduated with school records in the 800, mile, 2-mile, 300 hurdles, 4 x 400 relay, and 4 x 800 relay.....four-year letter winner in cross country.....placed 56th of 208 competitors in the 2014 Indiana State Championship as a senior with a 5K time of 19:13.....personal-best was 18:32.....played four years of basketball with three letters.....graduated with academic honors.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a sport business management major at Cedarville University.....born 10/4/96 in Goshen, IN.....daughter of Peter and Tammy Casaletto.....father (1989-93) and mother (1988-92) are both former distance runner for the Yellow Jackets.....has one younger brother.
