Biography
Carolyn Cann returns to Cedarville following a solid rookie campaign.....ran in seven varsity meets for the NAIA #1 ranked Lady Jackets.....best time in the 5K was 19:30 at the Aquinas Invitational which placed 45th of 228 runners.....finished 8th in the Cedarville Open in 19:45.....enjoyed an outstanding track & field season.....NCCAA indoor champion in the 800 meters and 4 x 400 relay to earn All-America recognition.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 400 meter hurdles after placing 3rd.....member of school and meet record 4 x 800 meter relay team at the American Mideast Conference Championship in 9:11.46.....tied for 2nd in the AMC high jump.
High School - Four-year prep letter winner in cross country and track & field.....graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School after competing for the Wolves as a junior and senior.....earned All-Ohio Capital Conference honors in both sports her final two seasons.....helped squad to back-to-back OCC cross country championships.....graduated with school record in the high jump.....attended Tempe Preparatory Academy in Arizona as a freshman and sophomore.....member of two-time state Class A track & field champions.....won the 800 meter state title as a freshman and then copped 800; 1,600; and 3,200 meter crowns as a sophomore.....set school record in all three running events as well as the high jump.....played three years of high school basketball with two letters.....Scholar-Athlete.
Personal - Carries a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 5/30/90 in Phoenix, AZ.....daughter of Bruce and Mary Cann.....has two older brothers and two younger sisters.
