Biography
Hannah Lamos returns for her fourth season as the top distance runner for the Lady Jackets.....defending NCCAA national individual champion.....outran 183 competitors to win the title with a career-best 5K time of 18:29.....CU’s #1 runner in all six meets.....Friendship Invitational champion in 18:45.....runner-up at the Dayton Challenge and Ohio Independent Championship.....placed 4th of 361 runners at the 6K Gettysburg Invite in 24:07.....finished 30th of 317 in the All-Ohio Championship in 18:45.....NCCAA indoor 5K champion on the track.....sat out the outdoor season with an injury.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
2010 - Finished among CU’s top five in all seven varsity meets in which she competed as a sophomore.....placed 8th overall at Walsh with a season-best mark of 18:36.....All-American Mideast Conference Second Team performer by finishing 13th in 18:39.....placed 80th of 277 in the All-Ohio Championship in 19:08.....NCCAA Outdoor Track All-American in the 10,000.....qualified for the NAIA Championships in the indoor 5K and the outdoor 10K.
2009 - Ran in the #7 position for squad that placed 6th in the NAIA and won the NCCAA.....saw action in seven of eight varsity meets.....posted a season-best time in the 5K of 19:33 in the Friendship Invitational to place 18th out of 181 runners.....made collegiate debut with an 8th-place showing at Shawnee State in 19:50.....finished 52nd at Aquinas in 19:53.....placed 36th of 134 at the NCCAA Nationals in 20:03.....competed in the distance events for the track & field team.....NAIA qualifier in the indoor distance medley relay and outdoor 4 x 800.
High School - Graduated from Long Lake Central School, but ran on the track her senior year for Tupper Lake Central.....earned all-conference second team honors.....qualified for the New York state championship in the 3,000 meters.....played four years of soccer and basketball as well as one season of softball at LLCS.....two-time All-Mountain Valley Athletic Conference soccer player.....named the LLCS Athlete of the Year as a senior.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a social work major at Cedarville University.....born 3/16/91 in Saratoga, NY.....daughter of David and Grecia Lamos.....has one older brother, three older sisters, and a younger brother.
