Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Brianne Barnes returns for her final season with the Lady Jacket soccer squad.....appeared in four contests with two starts.....hampered again by injury during the 2008 season.....posted a 3-0 AMC shutout versus Shawnee State.....allowed one goal in six matches and 190 minutes of action.....NAIA, NCCAA and AMC Scholar-Athlete.

2007 - Appeared in just one match - a season-opening loss at Indiana Wesleyan.....served primarily as a back-up goalkeeper.

2006 - Appeared in four matches with three starts as a goalkeeper.....allowed 0.78 goals per game.....posted 12 saves....recorded a shutout in a 0-0 double-overtime contest against AMC South Division opponent Shawnee State.

High School - Registered a successful four-year soccer career at Lake Fenton High School.....led team to four consecutive Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 4 District titles.....high school squad captured the 2002-03 Valley Soccer Association League championship.....two-time All-State Honorable Mention pick..... recorded 11 shutouts in goal as a sophomore, 13 during junior year and 9 in her senior campaign.....National Honor Society president..... earned All-State Academic Honors.

Personal - Dean’s Honor List student as an electronic media major at Cedarville University.....born 11/1/88 in Flint, MI...daughter of David and Linda Barnes.... older brother, Brandon, is a 2006 CU graduate and married to former Lady Jacket soccer player, Erin Baranski.
