- G-MAC javelin champion as a freshman with a heave of 163-5 (49.82 meters)
- USTFCCCA Division II Outdoor All-Region Team and All-G-MAC First Team
- Best throw was 188-3 (57.39m) to win at the Centre College Twilight
- Placed ninth at the Ohio State Jesse Owens Classic at 186-9 (56.93m)
