Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Georgiann McClure is playing her final season with the Lady Jacket tennis squad.....tallied a 6-10 record playing at #2 singles last spring.....has a 22-23 career record in singles.....teamed with Rachel Arthur at #2 doubles for a 6-11 mark.....combined with Carissa Parmerlee for an 8-3 victory at #2 doubles in a season-opening contest at Southeastern.....bounced back for a 1-6, 6-3, 6-3 win at #2 singles helping CU post their first win of the season - a 6-3 verdict over NCAA Division III Wilmington.....recorded a 7-5, 6-3 singles win at the #2 spot in a Cedarville victory at NCAA Division III Marietta..... recovered for a 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 victory at #2 singles at NCAA Division III Grove City.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.....named an NCCAA Ministry Athlete.

2008 - Completed the campaign with an 8-6 record in the #4 singles position.....teamed up with Carissa Parmerlee at #3 doubles for a 6-6 mark.....also combined with partner Alisa Rutt for a 4-2 doubles record.....helped give CU its only point against Palm Beach Atlantic in the NCCAA national tournament with an 8-6 verdict at #3 doubles...... posted a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 win at #4 singles in CU’s 5-4 loss versus NCAA III Wittenberg.

2007 - Posted an 8-7 record in the #5 singles slot.....produced the lone singles point for Cedarville in a 6-3 loss to Walsh in the semifinals of the NAIA Region IX tournament.....notched the only singles point for Cedarville in a 7-5, 2-6, 10-5 win against Ohio Dominican.....named to the NCCAA All-America First Team in doubles along with partner Alisa Rutt.....registered an 8-11 mark playing at #1 doubles for CU.

High School - Four-year letter winner in tennis at Allegan High School..... earned Michigan All-State First Team honors during senior season.....advanced to finals of state doubles tournament.....garnered all state honorable mention for sophomore and junior campaigns.....named Team MVP as a senior.....holds school records for most matches played in a season (34) and most matches played in a career (125)..... ranks second all-time at Allegan High School with a 97-23 career record.....earned three letters in soccer.....named to the all-county squad for senior season efforts.....National Honor Society student.
