Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Chris Vaughn is back for his fourth and final season of distance running with the Yellow Jackets.....participated in all eight varsity meets as a junior and was among the team’s top seven in seven outings.....NCCAA All-American placing 13th in 26:43.....American Mideast Conference honorable mention finishing 21st in 27:07.....turned in a career-best time for the 8K of 26:21 at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational which placed 29th of 255 runners.....NCCAA Indoor All-American on the track in the 3,000 meters.

2008 - Ran on the varsity during five competitions as a sophomore.....recorded a season-best time of 27:12 to place 27th of 91 runners in the Cedarville Open.....clocked in 27:30 at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational.....NCCAA Indoor All-American on the track as a part of a 4 x 800 meter relay squad that finished 3rd.

2007 - Participated in five varsity meets as a freshman.....best time was 28:14 in the NAIA Region IX Championship which placed 46th of 127 competitors.....Cedarville’s #7 finisher at the Southeast Classic in 28:19 to place 44th of 191.....member of track & field team.

High School - Ran one season of cross country and earned a letter at White Station High School.....squad won the West Tennessee regional championship.....achieved two letters in track & field.....participated in two seasons of football and one year of wrestling.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Biology/pre-medicine major at Cedarville University.....born 10/7/88 in Millington, TN.....son of David and Susan Vaughn.....has one older sister and a younger sister.
