Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Josiah Bragg returns for his fourth season with the Yellow Jackets as one of the top runners in the program.....team captain.....appeared in the final six varsity meets as a junior.....finished in the team’s top seven each time.....best 8K time was 26:06 at the Miami Open.....placed 8th in the Friendship Invitational in 26:27.....75th of 309 runners in the All-Ohio Championship in 26:31.....missed NCCAA All-America honors by one spot finishing 16th in 26:40.....NCCAA Outdoor Champion on the track in the 10,000 meters.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in the 5K.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete in cross country and track & field.

2010 - Finished among CU’s top seven in all seven appearances.....career-best time was 25:51 at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational which placed 36th of 313.....American Mideast Conference honorable mention with a 17th-place finish in 26:12.....was 61st of 263 in the All-Ohio Championship in 25:59.....competes in the distance events on the track squad.....qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Championship in the 10K.....NCCAA Indoor Scholar-Athlete.

2009 - Finished among the team’s top seven in all eight varsity meets as a freshman.....best time in the 8K was 26:19 which placed 19th overall at the Friendship Invitational.....finished 63rd of 255 runners at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational in 27:05.....placed 24th in the NCCAA Championship in 27:15.....distance runner on the track & field team.

High School - Graduate of Cincinnati Christian High School.....previously attended Toledo Christian.....four-year letter winner in cross country and track.....finished 22nd in the Ohio Division III cross country meet as a senior in 16:24 in the 5K for all-state honors.....four-time all-conference runner and competed in the state meet all four years of his career.....member of three conference championship teams.....part of Toledo Christian squad as a freshman that placed 3rd in the state.....two-time all-state performer on the track in the 3,200 meters.....placed 8th in the event in both 2008 and 2009.....won the 3,200 regional title as a senior.....named Cincinnati Christian’s track MVP his final season.....earned three letters in wrestling.....earned all-conference honors on the mat and was a district qualifier.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a political science major at Cedarville University.....born 3/17/90 in Dayton, OH.....son of Dan and Annette Bragg.....younger brother, Isaiah, is a junior distance runner at the Air Force Academy.....has two other younger brothers.
