Marcus Benjamin is a four-year sprinter for the Yellow Jackets.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in the 4 x 200 meter relay as part of runner-up squad that was clocked in 1:35.40.....foursome set school record at Marietta in 1:31.87.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 4 x 100 in 41.76.....quartet set three consecutive school records at the NAIA Championship placing 8th in the final in 41.32.....tied the third-fastest outdoor 100 meter dash time (10.89) in school history at the NCCAA Championship which placed 5th.....NCCAA outdoor prelim time of 22.0 in the 200 also rates 3rd on CU’s all-time list.....fastest season indoor marks were 6.79 in the 55 meter dash and 23.17 in the 200.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

2009 - Member of NCCAA Outdoor champion 4 x 100 meter relay team.....joined Michael Beight, Travis Smith, and Sammy Starr to set outdoor school record of 41.69 seconds in the 4 x 100 in the NAIA Championship semifinals.....AMC champion in the 4 x 100 meter relay.....AMC runner-up in the 100 and 200.....posted career outdoor bests of 11.07 in the 100 and 22.54 in the 200.

2008 - Member of 4 x 200 meter relay squad that set a new school record of 1:33.56 in the NCCAA Indoor Championship.....competed in the 100 and 200 meters outdoors.....fastest time in the 100 was 11.34 seconds and fastest in the 200 was 22.84 with both marks coming at the NCCAA Outdoor Championship.

High School - Four-year letter winner in track & field at Toledo Christian High School.....named the Toledo Area Athletic Conference Athlete of the Year.....received the Northwest Ohio Sportsmanship Award.....set conference records in the 100 and 200.....graduated with school records in the 100, 4 x 100, 4 x 200, and sprint medley.....Academic All-Ohio.....member of four league and district championship teams.....played two years of soccer with one letter.....student body president.....National Honor Society student.
