Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Eli Husfelt competes in the middle distances and the hurdles for the Yellow Jackets.....placed 7th in the NCCAA outdoor 400 meter hurdles in 56.59 seconds.....recorded a career-best mark of 56.45 in the prelims.....finished 5th in the AMC in 57.65.....competed in three indoor meets running the 500 and 600 meters.

2009 - Posted a season-best time of 59.16 in the 400 meter hurdles during the outdoor season at the University of Cincinnati Southern Ohio Cup.....saw limited action in three indoor meets participating in the middle distances.

High School - Graduated from Centerville (Ohio) High School and previously attended Mountain View High School in Tucson, Ariz.....completed in track & field for three seasons during his prep career.....earned Ohio Division I all-state honors as a senior in the 4 x 800 meter relay on a squad that placed 6th in 7:52.14.....foursome set a region record with a time of 7:49.85.....also earned All-Region and All-Greater Western Ohio Conference honors.....participated in two seasons of football and one season each in basketball and cross country.

Personal - Integrated social science education major at Cedarville University.....born 11/9/89 in Louisville, KY.....son of Michael and Michelle Husfelt.....father is a chaplain in the U.S. Air Force.....has four younger sisters.
