Tim Green is the anchor of the Yellow Jacket defense.....will serve as one of three team captains for the second straight year.....started every match in which he has played during his career including 19 contests last fall.....repeated as an NCCAA All-America First Team selection.....joins Tom Fite (1984, 1985) as CU’s only First Team All-Americans.....three-time All-NCCAA Midwest Region First Team choice.....named to the All-AMC First Team.....Grove City Tournament Defensive MVP.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.
2008 - One of three team captains and one of two players to start all 19 matches.....voted to the NCCAA All-America First Team.....repeat selection to the NCCAA Midwest Region First Team.....All-AMC Second Team choice and Team MVP.....assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 win against Southern Wesleyan in the Dave Jones Memorial Classic.
2007 - Produced an outstanding freshman season as the only player on the roster to start all 19 matches.....voted to the All-NCCAA Midwest Region First Team.....one of just two rookies selected to the All-AMC South Division First Team.....recorded his first career assist in a 1-0 double overtime victory at Malone.....also had an assist in a 3-1 win at Urbana.
High School - Played at Florida prep soccer power Lakeland Christian High School.....four-year letter winner as a defender.....member of four district championship teams and one regional title squad.....earned all-state and all-county honors as a senior.....named Team Co-MVP.....three-year letter winner in swimming.....participated in track & field for two seasons with one letter.....served as Student Body President.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Dean’s List student as an accounting major at Cedarville University.....born 11/7/88 in Brandon, FL.....son of Dan and Julie Green, who are both graduates of Cedarville.....older brother, Matt, was a four-year defender for the Yellow Jackets from 2001 through 2004.....older brother, Joel, is a 2007 CU grad and younger sister, Jenna, is a sophomore at the University.
