Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Christina Zorn is back for her final campaign with the CU women’s softball team.....started all 50 games last season for the Lady Jackets.....registered a fourth-best .290 batting average.....named to the NCCAA Midwest Region Team.....earned American Mideast Conference South Division Honorable Mention.....led team in runs scored (35), base on balls (23), and sacrifice hits (9).....tied a school record of being hit by a pitch six times in a single season.....produced a fifth-best 40 base hits.....registered an eight-game hitting streak in 2010 - second-best on squad.....scored a season-high four runs in a 7-6 non-conference win over Concordia MI.....went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in a 9-1 win over Spalding.....drew three walks in a game on two different occasions.....tallied nine multiple hit games during the season.

2009 - Started all 45 games she appeared in at third base.....recorded a .216 batting average.....tied for third on the squad with five doubles.....scored 12 runs during the season with 6 RBI’s and 32 total bases.....had a team-high 101 assists.....produced six multiple-hit games......doubled twice and scored two runs in a 9-7 victory at Siena Heights.....went 3-for-4 in a loss to Rochester MI.

2008 - Appeared in all 42 games as a rookie with 41 starts at third base..... batted .292 with 17 runs scored, four doubles and 10 RBI’s.....went 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI in an American Mideast Conference South Division contest against Rio Grande.....named AMC South Division honorable mention.....also earned a spot on the AMC Freshmen Team.

High School - Produced a two-sport career at Flathead High School.....three-year softball letter winner.....garnered All-State First Team honors for her junior and senior seasons.....two-time all-conference first team selection.....named to the all-conference second team as a sophomore.....also a three-year letter winner in basketball.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as an integrated social studies education major at Cedarville University.....born 6/6/89 in Kalispell, MT.....daughter of Dan and Anne Marie Zorn.....has a younger sister and two younger brothers.
