2012 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
Grace Campbell is a third-year distance runner for the Lady Jackets.....finished among the team’s top four in the first three meets as a sophomore before going down with an injury.....best time was 19:22 to place 10th in the Friendship Invitational.....saw action in three indoor meets during the track & field season.
2010 - Produced a notable freshman season.....finished among CU’s top seven in all seven varsity meets in which she appeared.....earned AMC honorable mention honors by placing 17th in a career-best 5K time of 18:50.....finished 12th at Walsh in 18:56.....broke the 20:00 barrier five times in all.....distance runner on the track team.
High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country at NorthPointe Christian High School.....four-time all-state performer and was a three-time Team MVP.....helped squad to a pair of state titles.....three-year letter winner in tennis and was all-state one season.....two-time regional champion and was Team MVP one year.....participated in one season of track & field and earned a letter.....school’s 2009-10 Female Athlete of the Year.....academic all-state in cross country and tennis.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a technical and professional communication major at Cedarville University.....born 7/28/92 in Portland, ME.....daughter of Tom and Mary Campbell.....older brothers Dan and Seth were four-year distance runners for the Yellow Jackets.....older sister, Rebecca, was a distance runner at Spring Arbor.
