Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Katie Lanphier is competing in just her second season of cross country.....saw action in four varsity meets last fall.....best 5K time was 20:35 which placed 50th in the NCCAA Championship.....outstanding three-year track performer.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400.....American Mideast Conference runner-up in the 400 meter hurdles.....qualified for the NAIA Indoor Championship in the distance medley.....NAIA and NCCAA Scholar-Athlete.

2010 - Sprinter and hurdler on the track.....AMC champion as a sophomore in the 400 meter hurdles.....NCCAA Indoor All-American in the 4 x 400 meter relay.....NAIA qualifier in the indoor distance medley relay.

2009 - Best effort of the indoor track & field campaign was a 3rd-place finish in the 400 meters in the finals of the Findlay Open....placed 5th in the 600 meters at the Cedarville Collegiate Indoor Invitational.....recorded a career-best effort of 1:07.30 in the 400 meter hurdles for a 2nd-place finish at the Tiffin Outdoor Invitational.....placed 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles at the Yellow Jacket Collegiate Open.....earned AMC First Team recognition as a member of the AMC Championship 4 x 400 meter relay squad (3:58.54).....part of the 4 x 400 meter quartet that advanced to the NAIA Outdoor Championship.

High School - Recorded a two-sport career at Cincinnati Christian High School.....two-year letter winner in track & field.....earned all-conference first team honors in 2008 as part of the 4 x 800 meter relay squad and the 300 meter hurdles.....three-year letter winner in volleyball.....two-time MVC conference and district champions.....three-time selection as all-conference honorable mention.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a nursing major at Cedarville University.....born 10/30/89 in Cincinnati, OH.....daughter of Bill and Christy Lanphier.....older sister, Renee, is a 2010 CU graduate.....younger brother, Josh, is a junior catcher on the baseball team at Huntington University.
