Biography
Trevor Bowman has developed into one of the top golfers to ever play at Cedarville University.....became the school’s first-ever NAIA All-American as a junior by being selected to the Second Team.....averaged 74.09 strokes per 18 holes which is the second-lowest single-season mark in school history.....75.78 career average rates 3rd all-time at CU.....broke 80 in every round and shot higher than 77 only once.....fired a career-low four-under par 68 at Tiffin and finished with a school-record 54-hole total of 218 to tie for 4th place.....medalist at the prestigious NAIA Classic with rounds of 73-75-148.....Mount Vernon Nazarene medalist with 71-70-141.....Cedarville Invitational and Huntington Invitational runner-up.....earned All-American Mideast Conference honors for the third straight year tying for 5th at 76-72-77-225.
2006-07 - Led the team as a sophomore with a 75.62 scoring average.....AMC/NAIA Region IX runner-up with a then school-record 54-hole total of 220 (70-73-77).....opening round two-under par 70 was a season-low.....tied for runner-up honors at the Cedarville Invitational (75-73-148).....tied for 4th at Shawnee State (72-76-148).....broke 80 in 18 of 21 rounds for the season.....earned a spot on the All-AMC Team.....named to the Golf Coaches Association of America NAIA PING All-Region Team.
2005-06 - Produced one of the best freshman seasons ever at CU.....ranked third on the squad with a 77.59 scoring average.....one of two players to appear in all 12 events and all 22 rounds during the season.....earned All-AMC honors after tying for 6th place in the NAIA Region IX Tournament with rounds of 82-71-72.....regional 225 total is one of the Top 10 54-hole scores in school history.....shot 79 or better 15 times.....tied for 4th place in the Wittenberg Invitational (81-73).....placed 5th at the Mount Vernon Nazarene Invitational with a season-low 145 total (72-73).
High School - Four-year letter winner in golf at Upper Sandusky High School.....All-Northern Ohio League First Team selection as a senior after leading team to conference championship.....achieved All-NOL Second Team honors as a sophomore and junior.....two-time All-District Second Team performer.....averaged 36.5 strokes per nine holes during senior year.....played four years of baseball with two letters.....voted to the All-NOL Second Team in 2005.....member of Ohio Division II state championship basketball team that went unbeaten with a 27-0 record.....National Honor Society student.
Personal - Carries a business management major at Cedarville University.....born 4/10/87 in Upper Sandusky, OH....son of Kyle and Teena Bowman.....has two older sisters and one younger sister.
