2012 Women's Cross Country Roster
Biography
Krista Johnson is in her fourth year at Cedarville University.....returned to the cross country program for her junior season after sitting out the 2010 campaign with an injury.....registered a career-best 5K mark of 21:09 at the Friendship Invitational.....NCCAA Scholar-Athlete in both indoor and outdoor track & field.
2009 - Ran in five varsity cross country meets as a freshman for the NAIA nationally-ranked CU women.....best time of the season was 21:23 at the Aquinas Invitational.....finished 55th of 121 runners at the American Mideast Conference Championship with a time of 21:55.
High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country and track at Carroll High School.....member of two-time Northeast Hoosier Conference, sectional, and regional championship cross country program.....two-time all-state and three-time All-NHC on the track in the 4 x 800 meter relay.....helped Chargers to the 2009 NHC track & field title.....team captain.
Personal - Dean’s List student as a biology major at Cedarville University.....born 12/6/90 in Bluffton, IN.....daughter of Ben and Bonnie Johnson.....has one older brother.....younger sister, Brianna, is a sophomore distance runner at Indiana University.
