Former Yellow Jacket player Brandon Sok rejoined the men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach in time for the 2013-14 campaign.

Sok, a native of Lexington, Ky., played at Cedarville from 2006 through 2010. He graduated with a degree in multi-age physical education.

The Yellow Jackets were 99-29 during his four-year career with four trips to the NAIA Division II National Tournament. They also won two American Mideast Conference titles and a pair of AMC Tournament trophies.

Sok was most recently the athletic director and head boys basketball coach at Aaron Academy in Nashville, Tenn. He was an assistant coach at Oklahoma Wesleyan University from 2011-13 working under Jason Beschta, who took over the Eagles after serving as a CU assistant.

Sok was an assistant under Estepp for the 2010-11 campaign prior to moving to Oklahoma Wesleyan. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from OWU in 2013.

Brandon and his wife, Jordan, were married on April 25, 2015.
