Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Joey Morlan is in his second season with the Yellow Jackets since transferring from Florida Southern.....played in all 29 games off the bench as a sophomore.....averaged 4.5 points per game.....all 43 field goals came outside the three-point arc.....netted 12 points on four occasions - Findlay, Saint Joseph’s, Central State, and Malone.

2015-16 - Appeared in 21 games as a rookie at Florida Southern College.....tallied season-highs of seven points and three rebounds in a 128-84 win over visiting Miles College.....connected on a pair of three-pointers in a season-high 16 minutes of action in a 90-78 early season setback at West Alabama.....FSC, who was the 2015 NCAA Division II national champion, finished 10-19 overall and 5-11 in the Sunshine State Conference.

High School - Graduated as the third all-time leading scorer at Blackhawk Christian High School scoring more than 1,000 career points.....school’s all-time leader in three-point field goals made.....four-year letter winner.....earned Indiana Basketball Coaches Association all-state honorable mention as a senior.....member of the Indiana Boys All-Star Team and scored eight points for the North squad in the 2015 contest...... Prior to his senior year, named one of the Top 100 players in the state of Indiana by Hoosier Basketball Magazine.

Personal - Sport management major at Cedarville University.....born 8/7/96 in Fort Wayne, IN.....son of Jim and Lisa Morlan.....parents were both athletes at Indiana Purdue Fort Wayne.....has one younger brother.
