Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Brendan Orchard returns for his second year of distance running with the Yellow Jackets.....saw action in the first five meets his rookie season.....posted a season-best 8K of 28:18 at the All-Ohio Championship.....distance runners during the track & field season.

High School - Four-year letter winner in cross country and track & field at nearby Xenia High School.....two-time cross country MVP for the Buccaneers.....best 5K was 16:52.....team’s track & field MVP as a senior.....Greater Western Ohio Conference 1,600 meter champion as a senior.....posted PR’s of 2:00 (800), 4:27 (1600), and 10:27 (3200).....member of 4 x 800 relay unit that qualified for the Division I Regional.....National Honor Society student.

Personal - Dean’s List student as a music major at Cedarville University.....born 8/29/96 in Dayton, OH.....son of Paul and Wendy Orchard.....father is CU’s head men’s cross country coach.....younger brother, Ryan, is a freshman distance runner with the Yellow Jackets.....has two other younger brothers.
