Cedarville University Yellow Jackets

Ethan Blagg is a fourth-year distance runner for the Yellow Jackets.....ran in four varsity meets last fall.....best time was 27:32 at Shawnee State which placed 24th of 127.....NCCAA Outdoor All-American on the track in the 4 x 800.....member of AMC champion 4 x 800 squad that qualified for the NAIA Outdoor Championship.

2009 - Appeared in four varsity meets during sophomore campaign.....turned in a career-best time of 27:14 for the 8K in the Friendship Invitational to place 47th of 178 competitors.....finished 96th of 301 runners at DePauw in 27:41.....middle distance runner on the track & field squad.

2008 - Saw action in five varsity cross country meets as a freshman.....best time was 27:52 in the Cedarville Open which placed 37th of 91 runners.....NCCAA Indoor All-American on the track as part of a 4 x 800 meter relay team that finished 3rd.....member of 4 x 800 squad that won the AMC title with a school and meet record time of 7:48.02.

High School - Homeschool graduate who competed in five different sports during his prep career.....three-year letter winner in track and cross country at Marshalltown High School.....participated one year each in basketball, soccer, and swimming.....earned two letters in basketball at Central Iowa Christian Academy.

Personal - Exercise science major at Cedarville University.....born 4/19/90 in Marshalltown, IA.....son of David and Diane Blagg.....younger brother, Ben, is a sophomore football player at Trinity International University.....also has an older sister and two younger sisters.
